Culture Shock Should Be A Normal Thing
People nowadays have been brought closer by the fast technological development, which leads to a rapid globalization that makes culture shock is something inevitable. Leaving somewhere far from home is not a strange thing and facing new changes can be quite surprising even if you have prepared. This happens to everyone no matter where you come from and no matter the phase you are going through. When people encounter a new culture and experience unfamiliarity to their environment, it's normal to feel a variety strong emotion. These somehow, could bring some big effects.
Confusion and emotional discomfort usually bring up a massive amount of psychological stress. Although it could be different for each people, the major problems may be described as depression, anxiety and feeling of helplessness. For example the sights, sounds, smell or tastes are no longer there with you, and you could miss them so much. Another example is the shock of being separateful from people you would normally talk to at times of uncertainty.
You probably also find your health affected. If depression, anxiety, and feeling of helplessness lay up, the psychological stress may be deeper and deeper so that people can lose their focus then got headache. This kind of headache will really bother every single daily activities, which means it's bad. Then you will start worrying too much about your health much more than you have ever done. You perhaps become more sensitive and fearful. Generally your emotions will be so changable.
Moreover, this may influence your abilities to solve problems and making decisions. When you have problems in solving problems, you will have your motivation get decreased. If you are at this point, surely your ability for adapting new situations is not as good as before. You will also lose confident in making decisions which means you probably will have so many new problems afterwards.
As we know that all of those effects can't be avoided from our life. We really need to deal with them calmly. If we understand those things above are normal thing in life, we will have them easier to confront. We will get better if we can overcome those effect nicely. However, we will have trouble with our mental if we can't.
